2025 came in cold but lovely

There’s something magical about a fresh snowfall that transforms even the most familiar corners of town into a winter wonderland. Yesterday, my little town was blanketed in a layer of pristine white, and it was simply too beautiful to stay indoors. I bundled up and ventured out—twice, in fact—once during the day and again at night, to capture the magic through my lens.
During the day, the light danced off the snow, highlighting every detail—from the intricate patterns on frosted branches to the soft, powdery drifts along quiet streets. The cold was biting, but the beauty made every step worthwhile. Later, as night fell, the town took on an entirely different character. Streetlights cast a warm glow against the icy blue tones of the evening, and the snow reflected the light in a way that felt otherworldly. It was a peaceful, serene kind of beauty—the kind that makes you stop and appreciate the quiet moments.
Despite the frigid temperatures, these two adventures reminded me of why I love this time of year. There’s a stillness and clarity that only winter can bring, and yesterday was the perfect example of that. I’m excited to share some of the shots I captured with you—little glimpses of the magic that a snowy day (and night) can hold. I hope they bring a bit of that wonder to your day as well.
